On July 21, our Los Angeles office hosted the Summer Soiree by the Sea  in Hermosa Beach to celebrate our many successes so far this year, and to raise funds to support our groundbreaking corporate campaigns and other efforts creating meaningful and lasting changes for farmed animals.

The carnival-themed Summer Soiree offered a side-spliting comedy showcase featuring Dan Piraro, creator of the award-winning cartoon Bizarro; hip-hop master and comic Zach Sherwin; and celebrity impressionist Piotr Michael. Guests also enjoyed a view of the sunset over the Pacific Ocean, DJ Nametag, spinning classics, signature cocktails with REED’s Fruity Ginger Brew, demonstrations by Kangen Water, and goody bags and raffle prizes made possible by our awesome event sponsors.

The mouth-watering menu by Miss Kitchen Witch featured Slammin’ Summer Sliders, Cheese Loaded Soft Pretzel Bites, Dark Chocolate Dipped Bac’n, and Baby Banana Splits, among other tasty treats. Chef AJ‘s Chocolate Peanut Butter Truffles further satisfied anyone with a sweet tooth.

Check out more fun photos of the Summer Soiree on Facebook. And if you weren’t able to join us, you can still become a monthly donor and support our life-saving work for animals.
