Now in its fourth year, the much-anticipated DC Meat-Free Week is in full swing, from Feb. 4-11, 2013. Presented by the Kindness Collective Compassion Over Killing, and DC Vegan, this week-long celebration is a direct response to (and kicks off immediately after) the artery clogging Meat Week.
When we learned earlier this month that the Cooking Channel launched the plant-based cooking program “How to Live to 100,” we knew 2013 was going to be a good year for vegan eating.
