Now in its fourth year, the much-anticipated DC Meat Free Week is in full swing, from Feb. 4-11, 2013. Presented by the Kindness Collective Compassion Over Killing, and DC Vegan, this week-long  celebration is a direct response to (and kicks off immediately after) the artery clogging Meat Week. What better way to show that there’s a more compassionate, healthy, and delicious way to eat than with a week of meat-free indulgence?

DC Meat Free Week features daily events plus week-long specials at area restaurants! Be sure to take advantage of these deals and unique menu items — we’ve highlighted a few below! And stay tuned for more specials during the national VegWeek celebration, coming up in April!
