They’re both very important ways to protect our planet, but you’ve probably been recycling for over a decade, so let’s talk about the growing Meatless Monday movement.
Over 50% of Americans are familiar with the concept and nearly 1 in 5 are already doing it. Even your grandmother has read about it in her AARP magazine. This Meatless Monday thing? It’s BIG.

In 2010, Washington, DC became the second city in the nation, after San Francisco, to pass a “Meat-Free Monday” resolution encouraging residents to choose healthier and more sustainable foods at least one day each week.

It seems as if new bakeries catering the current cupcake frenzy are popping up everywhere. And it’s hard not to notice that a growing number of them are dishing out delicious vegan versions of these mini sweet treats.
