You Asked, Tim Hortons Responds: Soy Milk Now Available

With more than 4,500 locations in Canada, Tim Hortons is the country’s largest coffee chain and the largest quick-service restaurant. Though the company didn’t have a dairy-free option for coffee — until now.

We’re thrilled to announce that your requests for dairy-free options were heard: Tim Hortons now offers soy milk at participating restaurants throughout Canada.

Next time you stop by Tims, look for the “Enjoy it with Soy” sign. If your favorite location doesn’t offer it, be sure to ask. Since this is available at participating locations, the more they hear from customers who want soy milk, the more likely you’ll start seeing it on the menu.

This dairy-free addition comes on the heels of our campaign update in September that Dunkin’ now offers almond milk in more than 75 percent of its 7,500 restaurants in the U.S. As dairy consumption continues to decline and consumers demand more dairy-free options, a growing number of companies are responding – from TCBY and Smoothie King to Dunkin’ and now Tim Hortons.

Tim Hortons is a multinational corporation, so if this new dairy-free option is a success in Canada, the company told us its very likely to expand the option for soy into its 800 U.S. locations.

If you have a minute, please thank Tim Hortons for adding this dairy-free option and let them know you’d love to see it – and more vegan options – in all of its locations worldwide.
