Now in its fourth year, the much-anticipated DC Meat-Free Week is in full swing, from Feb. 4-11, 2013. Presented by the Kindness Collective Compassion Over Killing, and DC Vegan, this week-long celebration is a direct response to (and kicks off immediately after) the artery clogging Meat Week.
Whether you have the day off for the Presidential Inauguration, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, or are traveling to the nation’s capital to attend the Inauguration, Monday, January 21 will be a great day to enjoy delicious veg food in Washington, DC. Many restaurants will have special hours to accommodate the crowds and some are even offering special menus:
