Tropical Smoothie Cafe – Beyond Meat Benefits COK

If you haven’t had a chance yet to try the 100% plant-based Beyond Meat — or if you have tried it and, like us, simply can’t get enough of it — you’re in luck! In addition to picking up some retail products on the shelves at Whole Foods Market, we’re excited to share the news that, starting this week, you can also find Beyond Meat on the menu at a national restaurant chain: Tropical Smoothie Cafe.

With more than 300 locations in 36 states, from Alabama to Oklahoma to Nevada and more, Tropical Smoothie Cafe is helping make meatless eating easier than ever. For no extra cost, just ask for Beyond Meat as a replacement for chicken on any salads, sandwiches, toasted flat breads, or wraps!  You can further customize any menu item by requesting no cheese, and note that all of the breads are vegan except for the nine-grain wheat, which contains honey. (See notes below for details about vegan bread, sauces and toppings.)

There’s more good news: dine at any Tropical Smoothie Cafe now through June 30, and when you share a photo of your Beyond Meat meal via Facebook or Twitter, you’ll help raise money for COK!

To help kick-start some ideas for lunch or dinner, we recommend the Jamaican Jerk Beyond Meat Chicken Wrap — it’s stuffed with Southwestern rice, corn, black beans, asparagus, and onions (request no cheese). Or try the Thai Beyond Meat Chicken toasted wrap smothered in peanut dressing.

Wash it all down with a fruit-based smoothie or a green smoothie (made with spinach and kale). You can even supercharge your drink with soy protein or ground flax seeds.

Find a Tropical Smoothie Cafe location near you today – and help spread the word by sharing this blog post with friends and family.

Note – vegan bread, sauces and toppings include: flour/garlic tortillas, flatbread, ciabatta, jerk sauce, Thai peanut dressing, buffalo sauce, guacamole, hummus, salsa, wontons/wonton strips, and southwestern rice
