Lawsuit Against Kroger and Ralphs

WE ARE SUING.

Animal Outlook just filed a lawsuit against Kroger and Ralphs for “humane-washing” and using these deceptive signs to trick shoppers into believing factory-farmed meat is higher quality than it actually is.

Our investigation found Ralphs stores in California using signs like “Well Raised” and “No Antibiotics” over meat from some of the industry’s most notorious factory farming operations. However, we found that many of these products don’t even meet Kroger’s own basic welfare standards. They’re using feel-good marketing to sell conventional factory farming.

We’re seeking a court order to force Kroger and Ralphs to either back up their claims with real products or remove the misleading signs entirely. Consumers shouldn’t be tricked into supporting factory farming.
