If you saw our list of 5 amazing vegan pumpkin products, you’re aware that Dandies — purveyor of fabulous vegan marshmallows — makes a seasonal version of its classic marshmallow. When used to make a vegan version of this iconic crispy rice treat, the end result is pure bliss.
- 1 10 oz bag of Dandies Marshmallows
- 2 Tbsp vegan margarine
- 5 cups crisp rice cereal
- 2 Tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground clove
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine Dandies, margarine and maple syrup. In 30-second intervals, with a quick stir between each, microwave until marshmallows are fully melted. Stir in spices. Mix in cereal and stir until evenly coated with marshmallow cream. Press mixture into a 9×9 pan. Once cool, cut into squares and enjoy. Recipe by Chelsie Jangord.
