With the growing popularity of vegan eating (it’s even been confirmed by Google!), it’s no wonder that vegetarian festivals are on the rise nationwide, and across the globe. From Seattle, Wash. to Tampa, Fla. to Berlin, Germany, VegFests are a fun way to discover the many benefits, flavors, and joys of choosing animal-friendly foods.

As the host of the popular DC VegFest, Compassion Over Killing has received tremendous positive feedback from soon-to-be vegans about how life-changing that event has been. That’s why we’re excited to team up with VegRehoboth for the first-ever Rehoboth Beach VegFest!

Mark your calendar: This FREE outdoor event is on Sat., June 1 at Epworth United Methodist Church and aims to highlight the very best of veg-friendly eating around the beach while empowering others to stand up for animals every time they sit down to eat. The Rehoboth Beach VegFest will feature dynamic presentations from Vice President of Farm Animal Protection at the Humane Society of the United States, Paul Shapiro; owner of Hobos Restaurant, Gretchen Hanson; cookbook author John Schlimm; COK’s Erica Meier, and many more.

From a variety of veg-friendly exhibitors to a kids’ activity area to pet adoptions by the Delaware SPCA, there’s something for everyone at the Rehoboth Beach VegFest!
