Plant-based patties are the hottest thing on the grill. Just check the menu at TGI Fridays, which recently added the Beyond Burger to more than 460 locations due to high demand!

Now, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews has just launched its Gourmet Veggie Burger at its hundreds of locations nationwide. The new burger is served with cheese and non-vegan sauce, but Red Robin says the ancient grain and quinoa patty can be ordered “as a vegan option served with fresh tomato bruschetta salsa, avocado slices and shredded romaine wrapped in a lettuce bun served with bottomless broccoli.”

Though the chain is known for selling hamburgers, it is calling this new meatless option a good way for diners to kick off their resolutions for 2018:

“The New Year often calls for changes and resolutions and at Red Robin, we’re no different. Whether you’re seeking to eat healthy, try new things or stick to a budget, our new and improved Gourmet Veggie Burger and featured menu items offer a delicious and craveable way for guests to stay on track with their resolutions,” said Dana Benfield, Red Robin’s senior vice president and chief marketing officer.

With so many delicious plant-based foods sprouting up onto menus and store shelves, it’s easier than ever to enjoy vegan eating year-round.
