The weather is warming and that can only mean one thing—summer is almost here! Along with the change in season, we’ll be celebrating our second annual Summer Soiree fundraiser, benefiting Compassion Over Killing’s groundbreaking corporate campaigns and other life-saving work.
COK has successfully persuaded several corporations, including Morningstar Farms, BOCA Foods, Lightlife, and Quorn to reduce or eliminate their use of eggs, and is currently running nationwide campaigns encouraging major food retailers Subway and Dunkin’ Donuts to offer more vegan options.
This year’s Summer Soiree by the Sea offers a comedy showcase featuring Dan Piraro, creator of the award-winning cartoon Bizarro along with the musically-talented comedian Zach Sherwin. In addition, guests will enjoy gourmet vegan hors d’oeuvres by Miss Kitchen Witch, cocktails, and goody bags galore! All this, atop a beautiful rooftop patio just one block from the Pacific Ocean with a view of the sunset over the water.
We hope you’ll join us for this beautiful event, a chance to connect with old and new friends while contributing to our vital campaigns that are bringing about meaningful and lasting changes for farmed animals.
