Forget the map of celebrities’ houses. The guide that everyone really wants is the 2013 edition of our Vegetarian Guide to Los Angeles!
Hot-off-the-presses, our handy, 20-page pocket-brochure—which we distribute to tens of thousands of Los Angelenos—makes it easier than ever to find animal-friendly foods, as it features more than 200 veg-friendly restaurants, hotels, bakeries, farmers market favorites, veggie food trucks, and grocers in the “City of Angels.” And best of all: it’s free! Keep a copy in your backpack, purse, car, or office.
There’s a reason why VegNews Magazine calls Los Angeles the Center of the (Vegan) Universe. The abundance of vegan and vegetarian options in the city is the restaurant industry’s direct response to growing consumer demand. Restaurant Magazine cited as its top trend for the year that vegetables will “take their star turn….as more diners discover the joys of occasional meatless meals [and] the flirtation with vegetarian fare evolves into flexitarian fascination with actual vegetables.”
Food consulting firm Sterling-Rice Group also identified its top 10 trends, including two promising predictions: “Veggies Take Over the Plate: No longer prepared as just a side or salad, vegetables will get their chance to star as the main dish,” and “No diner left behind: From gluten-free to vegan, more and more restaurants will offer all-inclusive menus and services to accommodate all eaters.”
Order your FREE copy of COK’s new Vegetarian Guide to Los Angeles, and check out VegGuide.org for more restaurant listings throughout the United States and abroad. It’s a proposition too tasty to resist!
