Last week, while College of Southern Nevada students in Las Vegas were cramming for finals, we showed up with something unexpected: proof that compassion is delicious.

But this wasn’t just about cookies. Between bites of plant-based perfection, students watched the truth unfold on screen—our investigation revealing what really happens to male chicks in the egg industry. The footage is hard to watch. The conversations that followed were harder to ignore.
“I can’t even taste the difference,” one student said, cookie in hand.
That’s exactly the point. When choosing kindness tastes this good, why wouldn’t you?

What struck us most wasn’t the shock on their faces during the screening. It wasn’t even the enthusiastic reviews (“Actually tastes BETTER than other cookies!”). It was the moment after—when students pledged to explore vegan eating and share what they’d learned.
This is how change happens. Not through lectures or judgment, but through genuine connection. A cookie becomes a conversation. A conversation becomes a choice. A choice becomes a movement.
Every “yes” to that simple question— “Would you choose the kind option?”—is another crack in a system built on suffering. And we’re here for all of it.
The future of food isn’t just plant-based. It’s unstoppable.
