🍷🧀 This weekend proved once again that delicious food speaks louder than labels.

Our incredible regional chapter leader Kristine M. organized a vegan cheese and wine pairing at a Northern California vineyard, and the results were nothing short of transformative. Huge thanks to Rebel Cheese for donating three wheels and offering discounts on more—their generosity made this event possible.

The real magic happened in those unscripted moments. One guest literally said “ew” when he heard the cheese was vegan. Kristine told him the vegan Tomato Herb Fromage “tastes like pizza rolls” and encouraged him to just try it. His response after one bite? “I usually don’t like vegan, but that might convert me!” đź’š

Guests repeatedly asked where they could buy the cheese. People weren’t coming back for seconds of the aged cheddar—they specifically wanted more of the vegan pizza cheese. The demand was real and immediate.

Change doesn’t always announce itself with fanfare. Sometimes it happens one taste at a time, one curious person at a time, one converted skeptic at a time. When we remove barriers and just let people experience plant-based food for what it is—delicious, accessible, and satisfying—the results speak for themselves.
