The Girl Scouts brought happiness to countless cookie customers when it announced last year that all of its mega-popular Thin Mints are vegan. And these compassionate cookies have some good company: one of the two bakers of Girl Scout cookies, ABC Bakers, offers a whopping three other vegan varieties: Thanks-A-Lot, Lemonade, and Peanut Butter Patties.
But wait, there’s … S’More! The Girl Scouts are rolling out a new vegan s’mores cookie, also made by ABC Bakers! It’s touted as “A sweet addition for the new cookie season: Made with real cocoa, this new cookie, is vegan, and free of artificial colors and preservatives.”
A crispy graham cracker cookie, double dipped in marshmallow-y icing and coated with chocolate — and made cruelty-free? These cookies are sure to sell!
To find out if your local Girl Scouts are selling vegan s’mores and lots of other vegan cookies, enter your zip code to look up your region’s Girl Scout Council webpage and look for ABC Bakers as the licensed bakery (note: all Thin Mints are vegan – so fear not, you can get those from Little Brownie Bakers too if they’re the bakery near you!).
