Have you ever seen evidence of animal cruelty and felt compelled to do something to help? Sadly, the suffering that farmed animals experience every single day is extreme and widespread, but there are ways we can help. By taking action, we can raise the voices of those who so often go unheard.
Keep reading to learn five ways you can help animals today, from the comfort of your own home.
1. Become a volunteer
A great way to help animals is by joining our Animal Outlook Alliance. By signing up, you’ll be joining a community of like-minded people who also care about animals and are keen to take action to help them.
After you’ve signed up, you’ll receive monthly emails from our Director of Outreach and Engagement, Jenny Canham, including quick and easy online actions you can take for animals. You can also let us know if you’d be open to volunteering in person too, and we’ll keep you posted on any events that may be coming up in your area.
Simply signing a petition to demand change for animals can have a big impact. For example, we’re currently calling on Dunkin’ Donuts to offer a completely vegan option on its menu (can you believe this popular chain is still failing to offer a fully vegan donut to their customers in 2023?).
By signing our petition, you can join us in calling on Dunkin’ Donuts to listen to its customers and show more compassion to animals by offering a vegan donut.
3. Get active on social media
By sharing our posts with friends and family, you can speak up for animals in just a few clicks.
4. Try vegan
We can stand up for animals every time we sit down to eat by choosing vegan. If you’re trying to incorporate more vegan meals into your week, or even if you’ve been vegan for years and are looking for some new inspiration, our TryVeg website has a host of different recipes to suit your fancy.
Why not try something new and show your friends or family that they can have all of the flavor with none of the cruelty by trying vegan? Visit TryVeg today.
You can help us continue our essential work for animals by donating. You can donate as little or as much as you’d like – all donations help and are incredibly appreciated.
