Target is a great store to check out if you’re looking to diversify your pantry with vegan snacks or check out some new vegan haircare products. We know that locating vegan items can be tricky and time-consuming (though it’s getting easier every day), so we did the shopping for you. Here are 10 vegan items found at Target that live up to the hype.
#10: Gardein Ultimate Plant-Based Chick’n Tenders
Gardein truly revolutionized chicken tenders by creating these plant-based alternatives. These tenders satisfy just like real chicken and pack the same protein-filled punch as real chicken. Each serving has 15 grams of protein and 15 grams of carbs. One 15 oz bag retails at $7.49. Gardein also offers Ultimate Plant-Based Chick’n Filets in a 15 oz bag for $7.49.
#9: Kite Hill “Cream Cheese”
For thousands of people, purging cheese from their diet simply seems impossible. Kite Hill vegan cream cheese is totally changing the game and allows vegans to indulge in the classic taste of cream cheese without the guilt. Kite Hill was founded in 2010 with the goal to make the taste of vegan cheese rival that of artisan cheeses, and since then they have taken the vegan dairy world by storm. Target sells their Original and Chive cream cheese spreads at a retail price of $6.49.
#8: Physician’s Formula Murumuru Butter Bronzer
Target is known for its wide selection of makeup products. One cult favorite is Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer. This bronzer is not only buttery soft, applies like silk onto the skin, AND smells like piña colada, it is also vegan and cruelty free. Now you can look beautiful knowing that no animals were harmed in the process. The bronzer retails at Target for $12.49 and comes in six different shades.
#7: Odele Beauty
One of Target’s newest additions is Odele Beauty, a women-owned and operated business based in Minneapolis that specializes in hair care. Even better, all of their products are vegan and have no synthetic fragrances. Target carries their shampoos, conditioners and other hair products. Give Odele a try next time you visit Target. Each bottle retails for $11.99.
#6: Place-and-Bake Sweet Loren’s Cookie Dough
Sweet Loren’s has created sweet, sweet vegan victory with these place-and-bake vegan cookie dough options. Now, you can eat raw cookie dough without the guilt of animal cruelty AND be worry-free when it comes to salmonella. Target offers the classic chocolate chip and fudge brownie cookie dough flavors that are sure to rock your world. Not only that, Sweet Loren’s cookies are also gluten-free and peanut/tree nut free. Each pack of cookie dough retails at $4.99.
#5: Daiya Dairy-Free Deluxe Cheddar Style Cheezy Mac
Everyone loves the classic taste of macaroni and cheese, but that creamy cheesiness can be hard to mimic when trying to find vegan options. Daiya has created a vegan alternative to the classic cheesy flavor found in traditional mac n’ cheese. They set out to give consumers the delicious taste of dairy without the cruelty, and we believe they have hit the jackpot with this vegan mac. Next time you’re at Target, grab a package of vegan happiness. One box of Daiya mac n’ cheese retails for $4.19.
#4: Raw Sugar
No, we don’t mean literal raw sugar, we’re talking about cosmetic products. Raw Sugar makes vegan and cruelty-free hair care, skin care and hygiene products for both men and women using 100% biodegradable packaging. So when you buy Raw Sugar products you’re saving animals and saving the planet, and that’s worth celebrating. Raw Sugar also offers a line of kids products for your little ones. To top it off, the pricing of this brand is simply unbeatable and even more affordable than some other non-vegan brands in the cosmetics industry.
#3: Siete Lime Tortilla Chips
Siete Lime Tortilla Chips are sure to spice up any appetizer. Not only are these chips light and crispy, the hint of lime makes them nearly irresistible. These chips are not only vegan, they are also gluten-free and make the perfect alternative to other tortilla chips (and they taste better too). One bag of Siete Lime Tortilla Chips retails for $4.99.
#2: KOS Organic Plant Protein Powder
A good workout should always be supplemented with plenty of water, sleep, veggies and lots and lots of protein. Next time you hit up Target, make sure you check out the KOS Organic Plant Protein Powder. With 20 grams of protein per serving, it also acts as a complete multivitamin, all while being completely vegan. Although many protein powders may seem vegan, many are whey- or casein-based, both of which are derived from cow’s milk. Even if KOS isn’t your favorite brand, make sure to stay away from powders that include either of those ingredients. Target sells a 13.05 oz container of vanilla flavored KOS for $24.99.
#1: Hippeas Vegan White Cheddar Organic Chickpea Puffs
These may be the tastiest thing you will ever try, and they definitely give Cheeto puffs a run for their money. Not only are Hippeas vegan, they are also organic and gluten free. Once you buy these delicious snacks, you won’t be able to stop. One 5 oz bag of Hippeas retails for $3.49.

Thank you for this information. I’m always looking for vegan options. I wish Target, and all stores, would advertise these products more so we know they’re there.
