A few weeks ago, we shared exciting news about the three new Subway vegan options that were introduced at select restaurants in the DC-Metro area. After debuting to rave reviews and being spotlighted in countless media outlets — from the Huffington Post and New York Times to NBC4-DC and DCist — the vegan options sold out at nearly every location.
At the same time, thousands of people from coast to coast flocked to our campaign website, WeLoveSubway.com, to thank the company for adding these sandwiches and to urge Subway, the world’s largest restaurant chain (did you know there are more Subway restaurants than there are McDonald’s?), to expand this menu nationwide.
Your feedback is urgently needed: While a couple of Subway Café stores still offer vegan sandwiches while supplies last, the official testing phase appears to be over — and eager customers everywhere now await the company’s decision, hoping to soon find vegan options on every Subway menu across the U.S.
Visit WeLoveSubway.com today or call 203-877-4281 to let Subway know that there’s an increasing consumer demand for healthier and more humane food choices and to urge the company to add vegan, plant-based options to all of its menus.
