Outreach is Going Green in September
Compassion Over Killing staff and volunteers kicked it into high gear in September, going green at two eco-friendly festivals and organizing the largest DC VegFest in history! Combined, we handed out over 6,000 pieces of literature and reached thousands more with our message of compassion.
On September 8, we tabled at the Green Living Expo at the University of the District of Columbia, and COK’s Sean Conner was one of two panelists during the “Food Choices and the Environment” presentation.

Thousands Celebrate Veg Eating at the 2012 DC VegFest
This past Saturday, over 8,000 people joined us at the beautiful waterfront Yards Park in Washington, DC to celebrate during the 2012 DC VegFest. The sun was shining, festival-goers were smiling, and canine friends were wagging their tails.
The excitement started well before the gates even open as hundreds of people waited in line eager to get their hands on one of our 1,000 free commemorative bags, loaded with free products and other items from our sponsors.
