Dunkin’ Donuts recently teamed up with Amazon’s Alexa in an attempt to make their on-the-go mobile ordering even easier. But what’s the point if we can’t order what we really want — vegan donuts?!
Millions of consumers nationwide are opting for plant-based options to help the animals who suffer at the hands of the egg and dairy industries, and to protect their health as well as the planet.
In 2014, Dunkin’ Donuts became the latest top national coffee chain to offer a non-dairy milk, saying it heard thousands of us “loud and clear” as it poured out almond milk nationwide in response to Compassion Over Killing’s campaign. But all of Dunkin’s donuts still contain eggs and/or dairy ingredients.
Meanwhile, big brands like Starbucks, Duncan Hines, and Breyers are already dishing out vegan sweet treats.
In Compassion Over Killing’s newest video we asked Alexa to order a dozen vegan donuts from Dunkin’. Watch below for her response.
