Compassion Over Killing’s unique Beyond The Lies program just wrapped up another successful tour! This spring, our team brought a powerful message of compassion to college campuses across the state of California to raise awareness about the suffering of animals raised and killed for food.

We held 20 events, where COK paid viewers $1.00 to watch a powerful video unveiling the cruel truth of animal agriculture. Our video also includes inspiring footage of rescued farm animals living at sanctuaries, offering the chance to see how the unique personalities of these animals shine through when they’re allowed the freedom to live and be themselves. After they watched the film, viewers had the chance to take action by pledging to choose vegan foods.

This tour, the Beyond The Lies crew was joined by former undercover investigator, Scott David, who has witnessed the atrocities of animal agriculture firsthand. Returning Crew Member, Nicole West, was also joined by BTL Program Manager, Radish XVX, who spoke about the program: “Every view of our video represents an in-depth conversation about animal rights and veganism — and a pledge to reduce or eliminate their consumption of animal products.”

After viewing the video, students on these college campuses were able to have an in-depth conversation about animal agriculture with our Beyond The Lies Crew Members and volunteers.

Beyond The Lies will be hitting the road again this summer spreading the truth behind the cruel meat, dairy, and egg industries. Stay tuned to find out where we’ll be!
