Compassion Over Killing (COK) supporter Carrie Thompson is really going the extra mile to raise awareness of our work for farm animals — actually, she’s biking more than 2,750 miles!

Beginning July 1 and for two to three months, this Team Compassion member will (mostly) solo bikepack on the world’s longest off-pavement route: Running from Banff, Alberta, Canada to Antelope Wells, New Mexico and reaching 200,000 feet in elevation gain —  it’s called the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route.

Why is it so important to her to complete this impressive ride for animals? Carrie writes on her Team Compassion fundraising page:

“I am a caring, ethical vegan who appreciates the work of factory farm undercover investigators, because exposing the abuse that runs rampant throughout the animal agriculture industry is critical. Since I can’t imagine being in their shoes, I am doing this ride to raise money for their work to continueUltimately I am doing this for all farmed animals!

Carrie says she aims to help animals by exposing their unnecessary suffering, and that’s a crucial mission shared by COK and our Undercover Investigators. We stand with her as she bikes for Team Compassion!

Please lend your support today to help keep our cameras rolling, by helping Carrie roll out on her journey!
