On International Women’s Day, and as we continue to celebrate Women’s History Month, we would like to honor the women who have forged the way before us and the many thousands of you who are actively creating change on behalf of animals today. You strengthen this movement with your steadfast determination and kindness.

United, we are changing the world. All of us at Compassion Over Killing thank you for your work on behalf of animals and the planet we share,  and we will continue to stand with you!

“There are many people who when we ask them to join us say that they prefer to work for human beings. But are we not working for human beings? Are we not constantly striving to make men and women more humane and disposed to all kindly feelings and to teach children to become gentle and merciful?”
Caroline Earle White, founder of the Pennsylvania SPCA (PSPCA) and then the Women’s Branch of the PSPCA, & the Anti-Vivisection Society
