Sandwich chain Subway has rolled out a new vegan steak sandwich at close to two dozen locations in Finland — and now’s our chance to get them to add it to US menus, too.

An Imgur user recently posted a photo of the plant-based sammie — dubbed the Vegan Delite — and LiveKindly.co broke the news. The new item was announced on Subway Finland’s Facebook page during the Veganuary campaign.

The Subway Finland website describes the sub: “Vegan diet meets spicy vegan steak with 44% vegetables: red onion, red pepper, green pepper, carrot, spinach, corn, white pepper, pea, green chili, garlic.”

This isn’t the first time the chain has paid attention to consumer demand for more veg options. After COK reached out to Subway and the chain heard from thousands of consumers on WeLoveSubway.com, it rolled out three vegan options in select locations: Sweet Riblet, Malibu Greek, and Italian Black Bean. In total, more than 1,000 locations offered the Black Bean and Malibu Garden subs, but the vegan sandwiches are now getting increasingly hard to find.

TAKE ACTION: American Subway-goers who are eager to get their hands on this new option can visit our WeLoveSubway.com and request the vegan steak sandwich at Subway locations across the country!
