I'm writing to urge you to hold Ali Meat International accountable for violations of Florida's Humane Slaughter Act. Video evidence of a public event at this Orlando facility shows untrained customers — including a child — were allowed to perform slaughter, resulting in prolonged, documented animal suffering, including one cow who was heard in distress for three minutes after their throat was cut.
This is not the first red flag at this facility. Florida law exists to prevent this kind of cruelty, and I expect your office to enforce it. Please investigate Ali Meat International and hold them accountable.
